This webinar describes components of a comprehensive preschool evaluation for the purposes of special education eligibility as per both state and federal guidelines. It reviews qualification criteria, provide an overview of specific speech, language, and literacy milestones for children between 3:0 and 5:11 years of age, as well as list formal and clinical assessments, SLPs can utilize in assessment of preschool children with suspected speech, language, and literacy deficits.

Tatyana Elleseff, MA, CCC-SLP is a bilingual SLP who specializes in working with at-risk children with and without concomitant psychiatric impairments who present with complex language and literacy needs.
